The Dayan Arts® Organization (D.A.O.)

The Dayan Arts Organization (D.A.O.) was founded by Sifu Shane Lear with the goal of helping spread the benefits of Dayan "Wild Goose" Qigong to the Western world. In 2015, Sifu Lear became the first American to be inducted as an "inner door" student under 28th Generation Lineage Holder, Grandmaster Chen Chuan Gang in Wuhan, China. Sifu Lear was bestowed a Master Instructor certification for Dayan Qigong from Grandmaster Chen in 2017. Sifu Lear was instrumental in spreading the teachings of Dayan Qigong through his books and videos, co-produced with Dave Deich. From 2009 to 2019, Sifu Lear also taught seminars all over the United States as well as France, Spain, Norway, and Switzerland.

The Next Generation

In June of 2019, Sifu Shane Lear decided to step-down as the head of the Dayan Arts Organization (D.A.O.) to pursue other interests in other various healing traditions. He tasked Dr. Richard S.P. Meagher with running the organization and continuing the spread of Dayan Qigong. Dr. Meagher was inducted as the second American "inner door" student under Grandmaster Chen in 2018 in Wuhan, China. Later that same year,he received a Master Instructor certificate from Sifu Lear. Dr. Meagher continues to teach seminars to those looking to expand their knowledge of Dayan Qigong.
